chocolatier recipe by our Colombian sister company Equiori. The basis are
exquisite cocoa beans grown by small farmers in the Colombian Andes. The
chocolate convinces with its delicate melting and a balanced, fruity acidity.
In combination with the exquisite organic red wine "Domaine la
Florane" from the Côtes du Rhône, the chocolate flavours come into their
own - a special food pairing experience!

Equiori – Premium organic chocolate from Colombia
The brand "Equiori" stands for the first and only certified organic chocolate from Colombia, produced directly with local partners in origin. The name means EQUIDAD & ORIGEN, where EQUIDAD stands for fair relations with the partners and ORIGEN for the origin.
Die Firma «gebana Burkina Faso» (ehemals gebana Afrique) wurde 2006 gegründet. Sie begann ihre Geschäftstätigkeit mit der Trocknung von Mangos, indem getrocknete Früchte von Bauerngruppen bezogen und anschliessend geprüft, zugeschnitten und verpackt wurden. Aufgrund wiederholter Qualitätsmängel wurde jedoch zunehmend in eigene Anlagen investiert. Früh entstand die Idee, die saisonale Trockenmango-Produktion durch die ganzjährig mögliche Verarbeitung von Cashewnüssen zu ergänzen.
