Silk Road sources its raw materials from two small farming cooperatives with around 1000 member families in the Samarkand region, along the ancient Silk Road. Silk Road is the newest member of the Pakka family. In addition to the Fairtrade premium, we empower the small farmers by pre-financing their harvest and giving them new access to the European market.
