Vacuum-packed directly after production at the origin
The walnuts are processed, dried, calibrated, cracked, sorted and vacuum-packed in individual bags immediately after harvesting, without any further additives. The removal of oxygen preserves the texture, flavour and nutrients in their original and healthiest form. In this way, we guarantee the best product quality right up until you open the bag at home!
Note: Once opened, we recommend storing in a sealed container in the fridge.
More about the supplier
Silk Road Organik Foods · our partner in Uzbekistan
Silk Road Organik Foods is our Uzbek processor of organic and wild grown nuts and dried fruits. It is the first Fairtrade certified company in Central Asia. Silk Road sources its raw materials from two small farming cooperatives with around 1000 member families in the Samarkand region, along the ancient Silk Road. Silk Road is the newest member of the Pakka family. In addition to the Fairtrade premium, we empower the small farmers by pre-financing their harvest and giving them new access to the European market.
