Vegan eggnog - The creamiest Christmas punch of the festive season

Eggnog is the Christmas punch par excellence in the USA and England. We'll show you how to make this creamy temptation vegan. Whether with or without a shot is up to you.

Ingredients for 4 glasses​

300 g cashews
- 500 ml almond milk
- 80 ml rum
- 6 dates
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- pulp of 1 vanilla pod
- 1 pinch clove powder
- 1 pinch cardamom powder
- 1 pinch nutmeg

How to make it 

  1. Place the cashew nuts in a bowl and pour boiling water over them, leave to soak for 2 hours. 
  2. Drain the cashews and puree with the remaining ingredients in a food processor until creamy.
  3. Finally, add the rum and blend again briefly.
  4. Pour into four glasses, sprinkle with a little cinnamon and serve.
